These terms apply to all services booked through ayurvedaconsult.ca. By booking a consultation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to them.

1. Nature of our services

Ayurveda Consulting provides Ayurvedic wellness and lifestyle consulting for educational and general wellness purposes. Our consultant holds Ayurvedic qualifications earned in India (BAMS; MD in Ayurveda). Ayurveda is not a regulated health profession in Canada, and our consultant is not a licensed physician, dietitian, or other regulated health professional in Canada.

Accordingly, our services are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no doctor-patient relationship is created. Nothing we provide should be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

2. Your responsibilities

• Consult a licensed Canadian healthcare provider about any medical condition, and before starting, stopping, or changing any medication.
• Tell us about relevant health conditions, allergies, medications, and supplements so guidance can account for them.
• Do not delay or discontinue medical care because of anything discussed in a consultation.
• If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services.
• For sessions concerning a minor, a parent or legal guardian must book, consent, and attend.

3. No guarantees

Wellness outcomes vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any particular result from following the guidance provided.

4. Bookings, payments, rescheduling and refunds

• Sessions are booked through our online calendar and paid in advance by card through Stripe.
• You may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your session using the link in your confirmation email.
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the session receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours, and missed sessions, are non-refundable.
• Package sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused package sessions are refundable on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase.
• If we must cancel a session, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ayurveda Consulting, its consultant, and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

6. Intellectual property

Wellness plans and materials we provide are for your personal use only and may not be redistributed or resold.

7. Privacy

Your personal information, including health information you share, is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Email drprernasharmaa@gmail.com.
